Projects within the Junior League include:

DONE-IN-A-DAY (DIAD)
Done in a Day (DIAD)is a fun, hardworking committee that develops inspiring and motivating projects that enable the JLS membership to get directly involved with volunteer opportunities across the Puget Sound area.

HEALTHY FUTURES ART PROJECT
This project helps children and adolescents, ages 6 to 18, suffering from severe mental disorders, personality disorders, and clinical depression.

NORTHWEST ART
The committee annually introduces over 20,000 elementary school children, the community, and JLS members to the rich production of Northwest artists in the highly respected art collection under the care of the JLS.

ARTS ALIVE
Arts Alive: Through this collaboration with JLS and Arts Corps, members are part of an assessment project designed to review the impact of arts education on children. This will give measurable results as to how arts learning affects self-confidence, communication skills, empathy, independent thinking & emotional discipline.

LIFEBOOKS
The JLS and the Department of Social and Health Services have partenered to help create special memory books that include personal and family information for children in foster care.

LIFE SKILLS
This project offers an exciting opportunity to positively impact young women at a critical time in their lives. Our members develop and implement a meaningful curriculum which provides life skills education to girls in our state's foster care system. The JLS provides positive role models and mentors to these 12 - 15 year old girls, organizes educational activities, and facilitates social interaction with young people in similar life situations. The Life Skills partnership with Treehouse aims to enrich these young lives and enhance the girls' sense of self-worth.

PUBLIC POLICY
This committee works on directing the advocacy efforts of the JLS, and ensures that members are mobilized and trained to approach their legislators and advocate for issues of importance in the League's focus areas.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
This committee networks with other Seattle community organizations to determine areas of greatest need. From this research, new community projects are developed.
